It will be held on Sunday, September 22, 10:00-12:30.  Slip out for a morning of creativity and beauty on our blueberry and flower farm. 

In the workshop we will guide you through cutting gorgeous blooms and foliage from our garden.

Opening Day Announcement!

Dear Friends,

Our pick-your-own blueberry and flower season will begin on Friday, July 12 at 8:00 a.m.. Although we thought the season might have a record opening date it has turned out to be the usual mid-July opening time. We were relieved to receive rainfall earlier this week and it is raining again as I write. The mid-season blueberries that we open with are gaining more color each day and we are getting very excited for opening day. Our hours of operation will be the same as last year:

Monday - Tuesday CLOSED

Wednesday - Saturday 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Sunday 8:00 AM -5:00 PM

2024 Spring Update

Things are humming along with spring activities on the farm. It’s always a good feeling to be finished with the blueberry pruning and cane pick-up. The bushes are moving toward blossom on the early side, a bit ahead of the usual range we’ve seen in the last 10 years…

Starting My 10th Season!

Dear Friends,

I would like to thank you for your patience with the later start to the blueberry season last year. You were so responsive showing up to pick berries during the shorter harvest time. A late spring frost damaged a lot of the first blueberry picking. It was interesting that the bushes produced a plentiful 2nd & 3rd picking, making up for some of the loss. We were gratefully surprised.

Farm milestone and a pony!

We finished pruning the blueberry bushes almost a month ago now. It’s the earliest I can remember and a personal best for me and my small team.  Partly it’s a testament to a somewhat unusual winter, but it may also be a milestone for the farm.
